Start Your Herbal Education
We offer four core programs for a complete herbal education. The Family Herbalist, Nutritional Herbalist, Herbalist, and Advanced Herbalist.
All students start with our Family Herbalist Program.
The Family Herbalist Program contains one course level and is the prerequisite for all our other courses.
Our other core courses contain multiple course levels, and are intended to be worked through consecutively:
- Nutritional Herbalist (Levels 200-500)
- Herbalist (Levels 600-1300)
- Advanced Herbalist (Levels 1400-2200)
These full programs can be enrolled in altogether, or each individual course level can be enrolled in separately.
You are given three months to complete each course level; full programs must be completed within one year of enrolling. We award certificates for each program upon completion of all coursework and exams!

All our courses are completed from the comfort of your own home via our correspondence or online learning format.
Correspondence
- Get course materials shipped to your home (books, study guides, DVD’s and CD’s, exams)
- Complete coursework and exams on paper, submit and receive grades via mail
- Receive a physical certificate upon completing a program
Online
- Access course materials via our online portal (study guides, video/audio files, exams)
- Complete coursework, exams, and receive grades via our online portal
- Purchase textbooks separately
- Receive a digital certificate upon completing a program

Continue Your Education to Become a Master Herbalist
After completing our four core programs, you’ll be invited to attend our Master Herbalist Certification Seminar. This week-long in-person seminar is the capstone of your education in herbal medicine and will put your knowledge to the test as you study alongside our master herbalists. You’ll graduate at the end of the seminar and be certified as a master herbalist!
